Isaac Allen Quinney

Isaac Allen Quinney— 67 of 415 West Center, died Saturday at a Logan hospital. He was born September 17th, 1910, in Logan to Isaac E. and Lucy Allen Quinney. On March 16th, 1938, he married Myrtle Muir in Ogden. Mr. Quinney was a member of the L.D.S. Church and worked as a truck driver most of his life, having driven for Consolidated Freight and Fuller-Topance. Surviving are his wife of Logan, two brothers and five sisters, Grant A. Quinney, Phoenix, Oregon; Edward G. Quinney, St. George; Mrs. Valine Balch, Salem, Oregon; Lucille Q. Pike, Price; Bernice Q. Tait, Honeyville; Alice Mecham, Fort Collins, Colorado; Barbara Tucker, Peco Rivera, California. Funeral services will be held Wednesday noon in the Hall Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Reed Johnson in charge. Friends may call at the Mortuary Wednesday one hour prior to services. Myrtle Muir Quinney

Ogden, Utah— Myrtle Muir Quinney, 73 of 2427 Jefferson Avenue, died March 10th, 1982, in an Ogden Hospital. She was born March 3rd, 1910 in Mendon, a daughter of George and Rose Ellen Ladle Muir. She married Isaac Allen Quinney March 16th, 1934, in Ogden He died June 17th, 1978. She had lived in Logan and Ogden all of her life. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack J. (Cleo) Gomez, Ogden; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Ed Muir Brigham City; Mrs. Fred (Hazel) Sorensen, Mendon. Graveside services were held Saturday at the Mendon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were directed by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary. ~The Herald Journal, March 14th, 1982, page 6.
